Skif Shark II is an updated version of one of the most distinctive models in Skif’s 400 series.
Its aggressive design sets it apart from other folders in the brand’s lineup. A recognizable blade shape, ergonomic thumb rest, and a flipper that transitions into a finger choil all contribute to the signature look of the Shark.

In its second generation, the Shark has become even more robust: the upgraded 9Cr18MoV stainless steel, with its higher carbon and chromium content, offers stronger blade performance and improved corrosion resistance compared to the previous version.

The blade has a Wharncliffe profile with flat grinds starting about one-third of the way down from the spine. This geometry provides excellent slicing efficiency. The Stonewash or Black Stonewash finish adds a subdued matte appearance while helping to mask scratches and wear from frequent use.

The knife opens via a flipper tab stylized as a shark fin, which also serves as a finger guard during forceful cutting. A ball bearing pivot system ensures smooth and controlled deployment. The blade is secured in the open position by a solid and dependable Frame Lock mechanism.

New to this generation are added jimpings — not only on the spine and handle, but also on the flipper tab and lockbar — enhancing grip and control during use.

The handle scale is made of textured G10, providing a secure hold even in wet conditions or when wearing gloves. The deep-carry pocket clip can be removed if preferred, allowing use of the built-in lanyard hole as an alternative carry option.

Skif Shark II is a bold and modern reinterpretation of a classic model, combining aggressive styling with functional performance.
