Skif Adventure II is a modernized version of one of the most successful models from Skif’s 400 series.
The core design and overall shape remain unchanged — it’s still a versatile EDC knife that performs equally well in daily use, outdoor recreation, or travel.
The main update lies in the blade material: the knife now features 9Cr18MoV stainless steel, which contains more carbon and chromium, resulting in increased hardness and improved corrosion resistance compared to the previous version.
The flat grind begins roughly one-third of the way down from the spine, while a swedge and jimping on the blade’s upper section enhance control and increase stabbing efficiency. A choil near the heel of the blade adds precision and better handling during fine cuts. Depending on the model, the blade finish may be Stonewash or Black Stonewash.
The knife uses a dual-opening mechanism: it can be deployed with either a thumb stud or a flipper tab, which also acts as a finger guard. A ball bearing pivot system ensures smooth, effortless deployment. The blade is securely held in place by a Frame Lock — one of the most reliable locking mechanisms for folding knives.
One of the standout enhancements is the addition of jimping not only on the spine and handle but also on the flipper tab and the lockbar itself, giving the user even greater control during operation.
The handle scale is made of durable, wear-resistant G10, providing a secure grip even in wet conditions or wearing gloves. A removable pocket clip allows for convenient carry, while a lanyard hole offers an alternative attachment option.
Skif Adventure II is a refined take on a classic model that brings together reliability and everyday practicality.
